Role Overview

We are seeking a Procurement Officer to oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management processes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supplier evaluation, contract negotiations, cost control, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Supplier Evaluation

  • Identify, assess, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability, and compliance.

  • Negotiate favorable terms, contracts, and pricing to optimize value for the company.

Vendor & Supplier Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure smooth operations.

  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, addressing concerns as needed.

Purchasing & Inventory Control

  • Process purchase orders, ensuring alignment with procurement policies.

  • Maintain comprehensive procurement records, including invoices, contracts, and agreements.

Compliance & Risk Mitigation

  • Ensure all procurement processes adhere to company policies and industry standards.

  • Conduct due diligence to minimize procurement-related risks.

Budgeting & Cost Optimization

  • Assist in preparing procurement budgets while ensuring cost control.

  • Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality and service efficiency.

Who We’re Looking For

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement and supply chain operations.

Core Competencies:

  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement activities.
