The Benjamin William Mkapa Foundation (BMF) is a non-profit organization established in 2006, dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes through innovative and sustainable solutions. We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic professional to lead and manage financial resources, grants, and investments, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability in line with our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Provide technical financial guidance in the development and review of BMF’s strategic and business plans.
✅ Ensure proper budgeting, financial reporting, and management of institutional and project funds.
✅ Oversee the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
✅ Ensure timely financial reporting, budget monitoring, and adherence to donor agreements.
✅ Supervise and strengthen financial systems, including integrated electronic financial management tools such as SAGE 300 ERP and EPICOR.
✅ Manage payroll processing, tax compliance, and statutory obligations.
✅ Guide the disbursement and reporting of grants in accordance with funding agreements.
✅ Supervise and mentor the finance team to enhance efficiency and performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
🔹 Education: Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
🔹 Professional Certification: CPA (T) or equivalent recognized accounting certification.
🔹 Experience: At least 10 years of experience, including leadership roles in financial management.
🔹 Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software such as SAGE 300 ERP, EPICOR, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
🔹 Leadership Abilities: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
🔹 Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
