Position: ATM And POS Support Specialist (1-Year Contract)

Job Purpose:

The ATM and POS Support Specialist will provide efficient, cost-effective, and proactive technical maintenance for ATMs and POS terminals to ensure service availability and uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide full support for ATM & POS technical issues to achieve ATM uptime of 99% and above.
• Perform preventive maintenance services on assigned ATMs as per the planned schedule.
• Train ATM custodians on ATM operations, including cash replacement and troubleshooting.
• Provide support and training to merchants and POS agents, including basic troubleshooting for terminals.
• Maintain an updated inventory of all ATMs and POS, including location and status.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ATM hardware and software issues according to service standards.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Supervise third-party maintenance and ensure optimal service delivery.
• Monitor and respond promptly to ATM incidents and health reports generated by the Network Operations Centre (NOC).
• Attend to technical support and queries that cannot be resolved internally for ATMs and POS.
• Provide mandatory quarterly reports on ATM health status and other reports as required by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems (IS), Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in the IT industry, with at least 2 years in ATMs & POS support and operations.
• Certifications in CISCO or MSCA Windows 10 are an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows PC Operating Systems (version 10 & 11).
• Experience supporting NCR and GRG ATMs (NCR ATM certification is an added advantage).
• Technical knowledge of ATM hardware and software maintenance, as well as POS troubleshooting.
