Position: Senior Maintenance Worker Fitting
Location: Kilombero, Morogoro, Tanzania

Job Purpose:
Kilombero Sugar Company Limited is looking for a qualified individual to fill the position of Senior Maintenance Worker Fitting. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining machines and machine parts during off-crop and crushing seasons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance and repairs of machines during the crushing season, breakdowns, and off-crop periods.
- Attend to machine breakdowns and monitor machine performance.
- Inspect and rectify machine faults and ensure smooth operation in accordance with ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management System.
- Ensure the safety of machines and personnel, report machine defects, and perform all tasks in compliance with Kilombero Sugar's Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment policies.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Job Requirements:
- Form IV Certificate with Grade One/Level Three in Fitter Mechanics from a recognized institution.
- Knowledge of machinery operation, safety procedures, and experience in plant machinery maintenance and repairs.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mechanic jobs, particularly in Main Pump Stations.
- Mentally and physically fit, willing to work long hours.
