Olerai Lodge, part of Shadows of Africa, is looking for a Customer Relations & Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our lodge. 🌿 What You’ll Be Doing:

👋 Guest Engagement & Front Desk Operations

  • Warmly welcome guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
  • Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and bookings via phone, email, and in person.

📑 Administrative & Coordination Duties

  • Maintain accurate guest records, payments, and reservations.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to meet guest needs.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.

💬 Customer Service & Relationship Building

  • Address and resolve guest concerns with grace and professionalism.
  • Promote lodge services, activities, and experiences to enhance guest stays.
  • Build strong guest relationships, encouraging repeat visits and referrals.

🎯 What We’re Looking For:

✅ Experience: Minimum of 2 years in hospitality, customer service, or a similar role.
✅ Languages: Fluent in English and Swahili (additional languages are a plus!).
✅ Tech-Savvy: Experience using reservation & booking software.
✅ Personality: Friendly, professional, and excellent communication skills.
✅ Multi-Tasking: Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities.
✅ Problem-Solver: Capable of addressing guest concerns with patience and efficiency.
✅ Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the tourism and hospitality sector is an advantage.
✅ Organized & Detail-Oriented: Strong administrative and record-keeping abilities.
✅ Financial Skills: Basic accounting and cash-handling experience.
