Role Overview

The Manager, Project Management Office (PMO) will oversee the bank’s diverse project portfolio, including both traditional business initiatives and digital transformation efforts. This leadership role will drive the adoption of Agile methodologies, ensuring seamless execution of projects that enhance operational efficiency and foster innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Project Leadership & Governance

  • Develop and implement an Agile project governance framework for bank-wide initiatives.

  • Lead the integration of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to enhance collaboration and efficiency.

  • Act as an Agile coach, guiding teams through sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Digital Transformation & Trend Analysis

  • Identify emerging technologies, market trends, and regulatory shifts to drive innovation.

  • Ensure digital transformation projects follow Agile principles for rapid prototyping and deployment.

Project Planning & Execution

  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization to implementation and scaling.

  • Utilize Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts) to track project progress and adjust priorities dynamically.

Enhancing Digital Services

  • Lead initiatives to improve digital banking experiences and streamline operations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ICT, Business Development, Operations) for rapid testing and deployment of digital solutions.

Stakeholder Engagement & Vendor Management

  • Develop business proposals and manage relationships with internal teams and external vendors.

  • Organize Agile ceremonies (Scrum of Scrums) to ensure transparency and alignment.

Financial & Performance Management

  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to assess the ROI of digital innovation projects.

  • Define and monitor performance metrics to optimize project outcomes.

Market Research & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine project priorities.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by conducting Agile retrospectives and scaling best practices.


Qualifications & Experience

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proven experience in Agile project management, backlog management, and sprint execution.

  • Strong market research and data analysis skills for guiding project direction.

  • Familiarity with digital banking solutions, core banking platforms, and emerging fintech trends.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills for cross-functional collaboration.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Projects, and Agile tools like Jira or Trello.
