We are looking for a Field Sales Executive (Business Development) to join our dynamic team and drive revenue growth through strategic customer acquisition and retention.

Role Overview

As a Field Sales Executive (Business Development), your primary responsibility will be to increase revenue, expand the customer base, and enhance lead conversion within an assigned geographical area. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to develop sales strategies, manage client relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ Customer Relationship Management

✅ Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
✅ Work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure excellent service delivery.
✅ Collaborate with operations, partners, and affiliates to expand the freight forwarding customer base.
✅ Enhance customer retention by ensuring seamless communication and service.
✅ Identify opportunities for increased sales and profitability.

2️⃣ Business Development & Sales Execution

✅ Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue growth in a specific region.
✅ Identify new business opportunities and potential leads.
✅ Assess customer needs and align them with DP World’s freight forwarding solutions.
✅ Lead sales presentations and negotiations to close deals successfully.
✅ Provide market insights and competitor analysis to improve business strategy.

3️⃣ Sales Performance & Target Achievement

✅ Acquire new customers and maintain a pipeline of potential clients.
✅ Generate high-quality leads and convert them into long-term business partnerships.
✅ Conduct a minimum of 8 customer engagements per week.
✅ Log all sales activities within the MDS (Management Data System).

4️⃣ Data Analysis & Reporting

✅ Track sales performance and generate monthly reports to identify market trends.
✅ Provide management with insights into customer behavior, industry changes, and potential risks.
✅ Maintain up-to-date customer records, ensuring all client information is accurate and complete.


Qualifications & Experience

📌 Education:
🎓 Matric Certificate
🎓 Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Marketing Management, or Freight Forwarding.

📌 Technical & Professional Skills:
✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
✔️ Experience using Cargo-wise 1 software is a plus.
✔️ Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
✔️ Ability to network and build relationships within the logistics industry.

📌 Experience Required:
5-8 years of experience in International Freight Management.
✅ Deep understanding of Import/Export procedures and Incoterms.
✅ Proven track record in sales, business development, and client management.

📌 Additional Requirements:
🚗 Valid driver’s license & own vehicle.
🤝 Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
