Job Overview:

As a Sales Representative at JTI/TCC, you will play a key role in increasing the sales and distribution of TCC products across assigned wholesalers. Your primary objective will be to develop and enhance the market share of JTI's flagship brands, ensuring product availability and implementing promotional programs to maximize brand visibility at wholesale outlets. You will also establish strong relationships with distributors and monitor sales performance, stock levels, and competitor activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Distribution:

    • Achieve sales and distribution targets across the appointed wholesalers.
    • Negotiate customer orders to meet volume and availability targets.
    • Implement trade marketing activities to increase brand visibility.
    • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with wholesalers and retailers.
  2. Customer Management:

    • Conduct regular visits to wholesalers according to the set weekly frequency and daily routes.
    • Identify and address customer needs, objections, and development opportunities.
    • Ensure product availability and merchandising in wholesale outlets.
    • Maintain stock quality and adequate stock rotation.
  3. Commercial Monitoring:

    • Continuously update customer information in the TME system.
    • Provide feedback on competitor activities and market trends.
    • Carry out stock and cash reconciliation according to company policies.
  4. Reporting:

    • Document activities and customer interactions in the TME system as per the sales cycle plan.
    • Report competitor activities and other relevant market information to management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:
    • University Degree or Advanced Diploma in a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Skills and Tools:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Internet.
    • Experience with PC, handheld (TME system), and vehicle management.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Performance Indicators:

  • Achieve sales volume and market share targets.
  • Maintain high levels of product distribution and availability.
  • Build and sustain quality customer relationships.
  • Provide timely responses to customer needs.
