Job Overview

As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will take ownership of managing a portfolio of Large Local Corporates (LLC) and Regional Corporates (RC). A senior leader within our Corporate Banking Team, you will drive business performance, mentor team members, and build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with corporate clients. Your role will focus on delivering exceptional service, making quick risk decisions, and ensuring operational excellence while safeguarding the bank’s reputation.

Key Objective: To maximize portfolio performance through sustainable growth, prudent risk management, and robust client relationships.


Primary Responsibilities

Sales and Service (40%)

  • Develop and grow the portfolio by identifying opportunities with new and existing clients, driving revenue and product uptake.
  • Formulate dynamic business development strategies tailored to market needs and evolving client demands.
  • Conduct customer reviews (both borrowing and non-borrowing) to assess needs, performance, and service satisfaction.
  • Deliver a seamless experience by communicating service standards, pricing agreements, and updates on products or personnel.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and competitive movements to identify threats and opportunities.

Business Management (30%)

  • Oversee portfolio performance across key financial, sales, and operational metrics.
  • Provide insights and guidance on financial/credit matters to clients, helping them optimize their business strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Large Corporate Banking to achieve strategic objectives and maintain excellence in portfolio management.
  • Ensure strict adherence to risk management policies and guidelines to uphold operational integrity.

Staff Management (30%)

  • Inspire and lead the Corporate Banking Team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
  • Coach team members on relationship management, service delivery, and risk evaluation.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, identify skill gaps, and facilitate tailored training programs.
  • Act as a stand-in for the Head of Large Corporate Banking when required, providing leadership continuity and client management expertise.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies (Required).
