Job Overview:
As a Project Manager at Railway Children Africa, you will play a critical role in overseeing programs that aim to reunite street-connected children with their families and provide them with the tools to build brighter futures. You will lead a dedicated team and ensure the effective implementation of youth empowerment projects, with a special focus on street-connected and at-risk out-of-school youth, including Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW).
You will work closely with the Project Economic Strengthening and Livelihood Lead, based in both Mwanza and Dar es Salaam, to deliver tailored interventions that help young people become self-reliant and economically productive.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and management of youth-focused economic strengthening programs.
Oversee projects that enhance the livelihood of street-connected children, helping them transition into stable and productive lives.
Collaborate with team members to ensure the immediate needs of street-connected children are met and facilitate family reunifications where possible.
Provide leadership and strategic direction to ensure program objectives are achieved within budget and on time.
