Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Attract and retain top talent by crafting engaging job descriptions, leading interviews, and welcoming new employees. Ensure each staff member experiences a smooth and enriching transition into our mission-focused environment.
2. Administration & Legal Compliance
Partner with our legal team to ensure all employment practices comply with Tanzanian labor laws. From payroll to employment contracts, you’ll be the gatekeeper of HR-related legal matters, helping us navigate the complexities of human resource management with ease.
3. Performance Management
Build a culture of excellence by managing a robust performance appraisal system that encourages personal and professional growth. Guide our leadership team through the process and document achievements to help us grow together.
4. Staff Development & Well-being
Employee well-being is at the heart of our mission. You’ll monitor staff satisfaction, organize training programs, and address concerns with empathy, ensuring every team member feels valued and supported.
5. Policy Development
Help shape the future of our organization by recommending new HR policies that promote efficiency, diversity, and employee satisfaction. Your input will ensure our workplace is not only compliant but also forward-thinking.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, with a strong grasp of Tanzanian labor laws.
- Skills: Exceptional communication in both English and Kiswahili, conflict resolution, leadership, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
- Commitment: A minimum of 2 years, with the willingness to live in a rural setting.
