Are you an experienced leader in international development? SoCha LLC is hiring a Chief of Party (COP) for an upcoming USAID-funded project focused on strengthening the capacity of local organizations in Tanzania. This is a full-time, multi-year role based in Dar es Salaam.
About the Role
As the COP, you will lead the project team, ensuring successful project implementation and management. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic direction and overseeing technical activities.
- Managing the project team, subcontractors, and partners.
- Serving as the main contact with USAID and key stakeholders.
- Ensuring project quality, budget management, and compliance with USAID regulations.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in international development, statistics, economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, including at least 5 years as a COP or equivalent.
- Strong experience in capacity strengthening for local organizations.
- Knowledge of USAID rules and regulations.
- Professional proficiency in English; Swahili is a plus.
